SY111 Scouting Day

The Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 10 school-wide scouting trip at Pushin Ranch was a resounding success, with students from all grades getting a chance to experience the joys of outdoor camping, scouting, and teamwork.

9:00-10:30

PK to G3 students have their grade-level SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) activities.

For example, students read a book together, distinguish all the feelings that are revealed in the book, then practice to express the feelings via body languages. By doing this, they have further understanding in Self-Awareness and Self-Management.Also, students had chance to play a game called" Pass the Paper and Stand on It" game, to win the champion, students need to show the team work spirits and stay focus during the period.

10:30-11:00 Flag Raising Ceremony

As a community, we gathered to sing and pray for this wonderful day trip.

11:00-12:00

PK to G3 students have their grade-level Inquiry Tasks.

After accomplished the mission, they seize the time to observe and play with animals.

12:00-13:00 Lunch Picnic !

Who could say no to have a leisure time in nature, while sharing food with your good friends.

13:00-14:00 Station Games

Teachers prepared plenty games for students to explore. The topics include: Sport, Global Issues, Music, Knotting, Mind Games and BBQ.
