Kindergarten: Qianshuiwan fieldtrip (Earth Day celebration)
Water is important. Water is life. So we need to take care of it.
Today, the K students went to Qianshuiwan beach to do their Student Action for the UOI “How the World Works” about water, which is to pick up trash along the beach. We learned during the unit that trash can pollute water which can affect the health of things living in the water, and also, since ocean water is part of the water cycle, marine pollution has an impact on it too. Going around the beach just one time yielded more than 10 kgs of trash! Through this simple action, these young environment warriors are helping protect water, life, and the Earth!
