Grade 2 Field Trip

This week in Grade 2, learners were hard at work on their Unit 6 Summative Assessment, which was completed in 3 parts. First, they considered what they would do at the Taipei Children’s Amusement Park, how much money it was going to cost, and if it was a want or a need. They made a detailed outline of each activity/ride/food/drink they wanted to try, keeping in mind that they would need to stick to a budget of 300 NT for the entire trip.

At the Amusement Park, learners put their prepared plan into action and actively practiced their Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills, notably self-management. Finally, they compared their plan to how things actually turned out and reflected on the process. A key component of this was determining how well they followed their plan and how they addressed any challenges they ran into. Everyone had a fantastic time!
