Central idea:

Exploring fashion in history inspires the way people decorate and dress.

Learning experience:

Students are learning about fashion in different time periods in history (ancient times, 1960s and modern days) and making drum covers based on those periods. The chosen colour and pattern are meant to present the traits and trends in the certain time and era.

1. Exploring colour development in different period, and students discussed how these developments present on wearing style or the items exist during the certain period.

2.Based on the chosen time and periods, students start to design the pattern and the use of colour on the drum cover.
