G4 Fundraising Project for the Homeless

In response to their understanding of the central idea,"Money is a human-made system that helps value goods and services.", the fourth grade students took action by offering their service/efforts to promote awareness of our community's problem of not being able to support the homeless and to contribute to improving their well-being.It was a successful fundraising project as many PYP families participated by spending money to donate hygiene care packages to give to the homeless.Their target was to collect 100 packages,and they received over 125 packages!The result demonstrates how the PYP students and parents viewed and valued the G4's services in running the project.Fourth graders,you conveyed your message clearly to the rest of the PYP community-well done!
