Unit - Who we are

Central Idea: Family culture and values have an important impact on who we are.

Subject Overview: Students will explore the link between family values and culture, and try to use symbolic ways to create images through collages. Students have to think of personalities and characters that represent their family’s icon, and select more than 3 colors that stand for the specific traits. They will have to collect the colors that are different from others, and create their own color palette for using the collage skills to make their symbol collage artwork.
