G2 Recycling Plant Field Trip

Central idea: We have the responsibility to maintain the earth’s natural resources.

在5/3的早上，G2 帶著期待又緊張的心情來到木柵焚化爐。一下車，我們就聞到陣陣的垃圾味，我們很確定這是我們的目的地。抵達後，親切的導覽老師帶我們看垃圾焚化處理流程：1.地磅 2.垃圾傾卸平台 3.垃圾貯坑 4.垃圾吊車操作室。同時，我們也藉由小書闖關活動來深刻認識木柵焚化爐處理垃圾的流程，這真是個有趣又富有學習的一次經驗。

In the morning of May 3rd, grade 2 classes visited Muzha Refuse Incineration Plant. As soon as students got off the bus, they could smell rubbish in the air. Once we arrived the plant, a friendly staff guided us to see the incineration process: 1. Weighbridge 2. Waste dumping platform 3. Waste storage pit 4. Waste crane operation room. At the same time, students learned a lot about the waste disposal process through the games on small brochures . It was an interesting and rich learning experience. When they came back to school, students reflected on human's responsibility to maintain the earth's natural resources through the "Circle of Viewpoints" (see students' reflections below).
