G2 Natural Resources Research Presentation

A vibrant display of individual projects were completed in Grade 2 in response to our Sharing The Planet unit: We have the responsibility to maintain the Earth’s natural resources. Each project was inspired by a different related theme relating to natural resources that was thoughtfully selected by every learner. The projects were presented like a gallery as learners walked to see and listen to different presentations within each classroom, showcasing the remarkable creativity, diligent efforts, and ideas for action of our young learners. Each classroom was transformed into a mini-exhibition space, where the diverse themes and innovative ideas of the students were beautifully displayed, allowing them to take pride in their unique contributions.

A delightful opportunity was provided for each child to visit the other two classes, where they were able to enjoy the varied presentations and draw inspiration from their peers. As a result of this cross-class interaction, learners were able to foster a strong sense of community, as well as appreciate the perspectives and approaches of others . The visiting class ended by giving feedback. It was an engaging and educational event that highlighted the importance of sharing knowledge and celebrating the unique talents of Grade 2.
