G1 Donates to Church to Help Ukraine

Love one another as I have loved you.

Walk in the way of Love.

Today, Kuei Shan invited Ms.K to do presentation for 1st graders.

This school year, 1st graders chose to donate their hard-earned money to help people who suffer from Russia-Ukraine War.They made Christmas cards and sold them during Winter Festival. A perfect practice of "International Mindedness" and "Global Awareness".

By going through the process of "See-Think-Wonder", students notice that fighting won't do anyone good, it only cause anger, sadness and wounds.

On February 24, 2022, Russia declared war on Ukraine. A lot of people became homeless and refugees since then.As a caring IB learner, Kuei Shan students showed empathy, compassion and respect, for deciding to contribute their best.With help of The Good Samaritan Project, the donations help the needs to get fresh food and medicine.

At the end of session, we all prayed for

1. Problems will be solved soon.

2. People will retain joy and hope during this difficult time.

3.Peace

As human being, we all have responsibilities to heal the hearts and make good choices every day.
