G1-G2 PE: Enhance overall fitness
It has been a great first month with our Physical Education Program for Grade 1. The students have been learning the proper way to line up, walking to the PU on their own, and warming up. We have spent most of our time starting our fitness unit which involves MOE testing. We test the students and register a score for sit and reach, sit ups, standing jump, and running the 800 meter. And for and extra bonus for the fitness unit, the students have been learning the 5 dot drill and 40 meter dash. All the things the students have done this month in PE is preparing them to be healthy and have an excellent year improving their overall fitness.
