2022 Thanksgiving Chapel

On Thanksgiving Day, PYP students gathered to celebrate by grade level.

Students shared what they are thankful for and indeed there are plenty: family, friends, being in school together to study and play, healthy body, homemade meal, injury recovery and so on.They also gave definition to the vocabulary "Thankful" , which means grateful, being kind, cherish everything you have in life, change the negative thoughts into positive ones, respect each other as who he/she is, and be united.

PK students shared the people/things that they are thankful for.

G1 students pray together , coloring the turkey symbol and wrote down what they are thankful for on the feathers of the turkey.

G2 students they did a fun activity: they have to think about the words thankful for which begins with A till Z.

G3 students made a gratitude chain all together.

G4 students learnt the history of Thanksgiving, then each of them took a piece of feather to write down the things that they feel grateful for. Look how beautiful the Turkey is!

G5 students sang Thankful For Your Fellowship together, and students greeting/wishing their friends a happy Thanksgiving.
