G4 Teams up with Taiwan Red Cross

In grade 4 this week, we have been working on our Covid-19 presentations to talk about our Run-a-Thon Fundraiser. We have connected with Taiwan Red Cross and determined actions to take so we can support their COVID-19 Prevention Program. This fundraiser is in line with our current unit of inquiry, How we organize ourselves : Money is a human-made system that helps value goods and services. As we dug deeper into how people view and value services in relation to money, the fourth graders enthusiastically displayed their "S.E.R.V.E." attitude and got to work. Our classes designed posters and practiced our presentations before we went to all PK-G5 classes to ask for their support for donations. It was a lot of work, but we believe it is an important cause.
