Our Changing Earth
In our first unit of inquiry, our 5th grade students learned how changes to Earth can have devastating effects. We looked at slow changes to Earth, such as weathering and erosion, and rapid changes to Earth, such as earthquakes and tornadoes. We also learned about changes that humans make to Earth, such as air and water pollution.
For their UOI 1 Research and Action Plan, students made posters about a particular topic related to how Earth changes. Students could research Yangmingshan, plastic bags, or renewable resources. These posters showed evidence of research and describe actions we can take. These posters also communicated ideas clearly and effectively. Keep up the good work, 5-1 and 5-2!
