Grade K Field Trip - Mailing a Mother’s Day Card

For our Wednesday English Program field trip this month, we learned about postal service and practiced mailing a Mother’s Day card back to the student’s home for their mommy. We learned about the words mail, mailman, mailbox, sender, receiver, envelope, and stamp. Children found the concept of address interesting and asked questions about the delivery system. After making the card, children put their cards into the envelope and glued on the stamps. We then walked to the post office nearby to mail our cards. Children had the opportunity to take a look inside the office and observe the facilities. Looking forward to having all the letters delivered!
