G3: Presenting the IB learner profiles and 3 Be's guide

Here we are reviewing our learner profile. The goal here was to read examples of each learner profile and match the text with the heading. Students had to work in groups and discuss which text should go with which heading. There was some debate, some disagreements, and a lot of discussions. Could we all agree in the end? Well.. let’s just say for the most part. 😊

who makes the rules? In a PYP classroom the students work collaboratively to define what our learning environment should look like. Using the Kuei Shan 3 Be’s to guide us, the Grade 3 students worked in teams to create posters that showed how to Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Our Best during various times of the school day. The students also got to practice their public speaking skills by presenting their finished posters to the class. In the end, the posters were hung up as a reference and reminder of what kind of class we want to be.
