Generating Electricity

The sixth graders' third unit of inquiry allowed them to explore the interaction between the natural world and human societies, and the impact of scientific and technological advances on society and on the environment.

To demonstrate their understanding that electricity can be produced by different means and has many applications in modern society, students, in small groups, produced a talk show or interview which contains significant questions and answers about the past, present, and future of energy production and consumption.
